Project Highlights
- The Battle Royale genre is highly enjoyable for players as it tests their skills against each other and keeps them on their toes. It’s kill or be killed, until you’re the last one standing. The better you are, the more you win / earn.
- Each player will have their own pool (think of it as inventory), and the prizes will be dependent on the size of the pool. The better the pool, the higher the reward.
- To earn player have to win the match (the last man standing or has the most kills in deathmatch mode). Players receive the $CS from their personal $CS pool. If the pool is empty, then no more $CS can be earned by a player at this time, although a player can still play the game.
- The initial circulating supply seems to be a bit high for everyone who has tokens, especially investment funds - who bought at a very good price. The public sale is only 15% unlocked, which is quite low compared to the regular market and may reduce the incentive for retail investors to invest in the project early.
- The Community is still young, but they have reached 5k followers on Twitter and 8.3k members on Discord. The team creates a positive, family vibe in their social channels and demonstrates their enthusiasm for the gaming business and player-first view.
- The team has already planned several revenue streams, which will be mostly determined by the ecosystem's growth. Most of the in-game activities will generate a system fee, a portion of which will go to company revenue and a portion to the treasury.
- Blast Royale successfully closed a $5M private token sale. The round was co-led by Animoca Brands and Mechanism Capital and joined by several other top investors and partners including Dragonfly Capital, Play Ventures Future Fund, DeFiance Capital, Double Peak, Polygon, C² Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, DWeb3, Merit Circle, Shima Capitol, Ancient8, AvocadoDAO and is backed by notable angel investors such as Santiago R Santos and Nick Chong.
- The team behind Blast Royale is First Light Games - A company with a combined 100+ years of experience designing AAA games for mobile, console and PC.
- The most notable feature of Blast Royale is probably the way they reward players. By binding earning capacity to inventory quality, Blast Royale encourages users to improve their items on a regular basis and burn $CS tokens to support a sustainable economy.
Overview
Blast Royale is an ecosystem that combines Battle Royale (like Free Fire, PUBG, COD, Zooba, Bullet Echo...) gaming with a Play-and-Earn model. This game genre is highly enjoyable, as players battle each other in a big open world to be the last survivor. This is exciting for players as it tests their skills against each other and keeps them on their toes. It’s kill or be killed, until you’re the last one standing. The better you are, the more you win / earn.

Gameplay
- In Battle Royale mode, players are pitted against each other in 'last standing' survival matches. Players select where on the map they deploy with their pre-selected Equipment from their inventory.
- Players can find other pieces of equipment (ammo, health packs, armor, and other items) on the map, but generally, they are not as powerful as the ones starting with. They can also take items dropped by other players after killing them, such as their NFT weapons and potentially get an even better weapon. However, players do not get to keep the items they collect during a match.
Blast Royale is presently in Beta Test, with Deathmatch as the only mode (where the goal is to kill the other players' characters as many times as possible). This seems to be quite smooth, and the community has had a positive response.
NFTs

The Blast Royale gaming system offers two types of NFT: Characters & Equipment NFT

Table 1: The differences between Characters NFT and Equipments NFT
- Equipment NFTs will feature a variety of attributes that will have a great influence on gameplay, such as Faction, Grade, Level, and Weapon Type. By effectively combining these attributes, players can define their playing style and improve overall gaming, resulting to higher rewards.
- E.g. one faction's weapon may deal higher damage to another faction's armor, but lower damage to a third faction's armor.
Figure 3: Equipment NFT Attributes
- Other than that, $BLST and $CS tokens will be primarily utilized to enhance the quality of your gameplay using these utilities. See the table below for further information.
Replication | Repair | Upgrading | |
Description | Use two pieces of equipment to create a new one with attributes inherited from the two. Like Axie's Breeding or CyBall’s Mentoring | Equipment loses its durability over time due to Rusting process and need to repair it to keep playing | When your equipment has gained enough experience, you can level it up. The higher the level, the better the gameplay stats of the equipment. |
Cost | $BLST - Transferred into the Treasury and Company revenue $CS - Burnt | $CS - Burnt The more an item got repaired, the more $CS it requires for future repairs. | $BLST - Transferred into the Treasury and Company revenue $CS - Burnt |
Table 2: Equipment NFT basic Stats
- The game has many utilities for $CS tokens. By designing a system that requires continuous upgrading and creates a large demand for $CS to increase, Blast Royale may be able to achieve a stable and sustainable economy. $CS will be earned by successful battles and used for in-game tools crafting and repairs.
The NFT equipment will have a significant impact on both your play style and earning capacity. While having many powerful NFTs offers a distinct edge, player ability is still important. In the future, the game should feature a match-making mechanism for the Player Pool total stats to balance out, to avoid pay-to-win scenarios.
Game Economy
For Player
- Players will start each day with a personal $CS pool, or Experience Pool, that measures how much $CS they can earn that day. Once it depletes, they will stop receiving $CS and experience until it automatically replenishes:
- Experience pool: 12 hours to fully refill.
- $CS pool: 25% every 3 hours.
- The more equipment pieces a player has, the bigger the pool.
- Winning a match brings the biggest reward (either the last man standing or the most kills in death match mode), but even if a player placed a bit lower they still earn, but less. Although not all places are rewarded with prizes. Players receive $CS from their personal $CS pool. If the pool is empty, then no more $CS can be earned, but the player can still play the game.
Figure 4: Blast Royale Game loop
$CS Earning | Overall Earning |
The size of the $CS Pool depends on the following factors of NFTs owned: | The maximum amount a player may take from the match is determined by three factors of the NFTs equipped when entering the match: |
• Quantity. The more, the bigger the pool • Rarities and Titles. The higher the rarity and the title, the bigger the pool • Durability. The lower the durability, the smaller the pool |
• Grades. The higher the grades of items, the bigger the maximum value • Durability. The lower the durability, the smaller the maximum value • Quantity. all equipment slots filled. |
Table 3: Factors that affect players earnings
To maximize earning capacity, players need to keep upgrading their items to:
- Use stronger equipment NFT to increase win rate.
- Increase the $CS pool size.
- Increase maximum earnings from the match.
For Team - The company revenue (in $BLST)
Blast Royale will be monetized with different revenue streams as follows:
Figure 5: Blast Royale Company revenue streams
-
5% $BLST of the Marketplace Fee - which is 2.5% fee on trading equipment on a secondary market
Examples:
Player 1 paid, for example, 100 $BLST to buy an NFT character from Player 2
Player 2 received 100 - (100 * 2.5%) = 97.5 $BLST
The company takes (2.5 * 5%) = 0.125 $BLST as a revenue
(2.5 - 0.125) = 2.375 $BLST end up in the Treasury -
75% of all $BLST that is going to a treasury from the following sources:
-
Upgrading
-
Replication
-
Crafting
Examples:
Player 1 paid 8 $BLST to Upgrade/Replicate/Craft equipment
The company takes (8 * 75%) = 6 $BLST as a revenue
-
(8 - 6) = 2 $BLST end up in the Treasury
-
Share of $BLST staking rewards (The Dev team stakes their own token)
-
Occasional NFT sales
-
Tournaments fee
Sum up
- Blastoken ($BLST) is the governance and staking token. With a limited supply of 512 million tokens, $BLST can be utilized to perform many actions within the Blast Royale metaverse: equipment purchases/sales, creating new items.
- Craft Spice ($CS) acts as a medium of transferring worth inside the Blast Royale metaverse. $CS is minted through interacting with the gameplay mechanics, primarily as rewards; with the proportion of tokens earned by each player dependent on their NFT quantity.

Figure 6: Game Economy Model
True to their player-first approach, the game will have a free-to-play version. All new players will be given a set of free equipment, though it may have a lower earning capacity compared to NFT equipment.
Blast Royale uses a dual-token model with a new feature. By binding earning capacity to inventory quality, specifically the one the player brings to the match, Blast Royale encourages spending project tokens to improve items on a regular basis.
- Some $BLST will be transferred to the Treasury; some will go towards the company's revenue. $CS tokens will be burnt, to benefit the ecosystem and support a more sustainable economy.

Figure 7: Blast Royale Tokenomics
The initial circulating supply seems to be a bit high given how many parties have tokens, especially investment funds who bought at a very low price, the public sale is 15% unlocked at TGE and then 7% monthly, which is quite low compared to the regular market. This may reduce the incentive for retail investors to invest in the project early, but is good for the game for their long-term development.

The major theme of current discussions is the gameplay, which is excellent, and this is what we would hope the community brings up when learning about a new gamefi project. It's always a good indication that people are paying attention to the game rather than the earning or token-related factors.
The Blast Royale team really puts in effort to interact with their community.
- There are several activities on Discord for users to participate in, such as a daily quiz with a leaderboard. Aside from that, they have AMA sessions to engage with members and patiently explain what they do and hope to achieve in the future.
- They create a positive, family vibe; often, gaming entrepreneurs are not "gamers" themselves since they are too busy, but showing their enthusiasm for gaming and player experience is great for optics and building trust with the community:
